This Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) outlines the terms and conditions under which orders placed on the website operated by Photonests (“we,” “our,” or “us”) may be cancelled by the customer or by the Company. This Policy applies to all purchases of digital and printed photographic artworks, participation in photography contests, and any services related to gallery submissions.
By placing an order, registering for a contest, or submitting work to the galleries through our website, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Policy.
1. Cancellation by Customer – Printed Artworks
You may cancel an order for printed photographic artworks (including framed, mounted, or canvas prints) within 12 (twelve) hours of placing the order, provided the order has not yet entered production, printing, packaging, or shipment.
Cancellation requests must be submitted via email to:

Include your full name, order number, and reason for cancellation.
After the 12-hour window, no cancellations will be accepted for printed products that are already in process or dispatched.
2. Cancellation of Digital Artworks
All sales of digital photographic artworks are final and non-cancellable once access is granted, including download links or file transfers.
By purchasing a digital product, you acknowledge that delivery is deemed complete upon digital access, and that cancellations or refunds are not applicable thereafter.
3. Cancellation of Contest Participation
If you have registered for a photography contest:
- Paid registrations may be cancelled within 24 hours of payment and prior to the contest start date, provided no submission has been made.
- No cancellations are permitted once the contest has started, the submission has been uploaded, or judging has commenced.
All contest-related fees are non-refundable except in the event of cancellation or postponement of the contest by Photonests.
4. Cancellation of Gallery Submissions
Artists submitting works for online gallery display may request cancellation or withdrawal of their artwork from public viewing by sending a written request to info@photonests.com.
We will review and process such requests on a case-by-case basis, and reserve the right to retain already published content for archival or legal purposes (with due credit).
If the artwork has been sold or licensed via the platform prior to cancellation, such cancellation will not affect the rights of the purchaser or licensee.
5. Cancellation by Photonests
We reserve the right to cancel an order or registration at our sole discretion, including (but not limited to) the following situations:
- The artwork is unavailable or withdrawn by the artist.
- Errors in pricing, description, or listing.
- Suspected fraudulent activity or violation of Terms of Use.
- Inability to verify shipping or payment information.
- Force majeure events (e.g., natural disaster, service disruptions).
In such cases, customers will be notified promptly and offered a full refund, where applicable.
6. Refunds Upon Cancellation
If your cancellation request is eligible and accepted:
- The amount paid will be refunded to the original mode of payment.
- Refunds will be initiated within 7–14 business days from confirmation.
- Processing time may vary depending on your payment gateway or bank.
Refunds are not applicable in cases where digital products are accessed or printed artworks have already been processed/ shipped.
7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. All disputes arising from cancellations shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Panchkula, India.
